Join the NIH Office of AIDS Research (OAR), along with partners across NIH, for the fourth annual Workshop for Early Career Investigators in HIV on Friday, September 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. ET. Following success of previous ECI workshops, the event will give attendees the opportunity to learn about the role of OAR and HIV research across NIH, gain knowledge about NIH resources to support early career investigators (ECIs), learn about HIV funding opportunities and the NIH grant application process, and network with fellow HIV researchers.

Donenberg, Ph.D., shares five takeaways from her recent conversation with NIH Director Jay Bhattacharya, M.D., Ph.D., on The Director’s Desk podcast, where they discussed the evolution of HIV prevention and treatment. An increased focus on implementation science is crucial to identify the best strategies to reach people in need of lifesaving HIV prevention and treatment interventions, she writes.
