HIV Clinical Practice Guidelines and OARAC

OARAC convenes working groups to write, review, and update federally approved medical practice guidelines for HIV and AIDS. The guidelines, available at Clinicalinfo.HIV.gov, are recommended for use by U.S. health care practitioners and inform medical providers and the public around the world.

The HIV Antiretroviral and Opportunistic Infections Guidelines Working Groups of OARAC develop the following guidelines:

Working group members include experts from academia, clinical medicine, community organizations, several U.S. Department of Health and Human Services agencies, and HIV experts—including physicians, pharmacists, researchers, and HIV treatment advocates—from the United States and abroad.
